Hi ,

With the personal account you need an ID, assigned by Santander. Along with
this you have a password (letters and numbers) and a 5 digit number; you can
customise these. On the business site it is similar setup, but on it they ask
for specific digits (input characters 4, 8 and 11 for example).

For both during registration, they ask for a list of memorable details for
additional security and ask you to enter a word to match against a picture they
provide, which appears on log in page after your ID is entered. This is to
assure you that you have began logging in on the legit site.

Sorry for errors in this, severely hung over

Mike

David, if it's like the personal side, it's just a user id, a password and a
number - backed up with other data they can request if in any doubt.

Hi, and thanks for the reply.

Another question.

How do they organize their security screens.
With HSBC and Co-op bank (both of which I am leaving), they use a talking
box.  Do S T use a similar system, or purely question and answer?
A useful fact to know prior to applying for the account!

Thanks again!

Hi, I use them for online business banking and the business site and app are
accessible and allows you to combine all accounts on the business site

David, Certainly the personal banking site is very good, and one of

Santander too.

Hi all

I wonder if anyone does?

If so, how accessible is their online banking?

TIA
