Hi Mike
I'm not sure if it is a Hims problem, but whatever it is, I don't personally
like it. Everyone has their own view of mainstream versus specialist when
it comes to Braille and iOS or Android, but I still prefer an all-in-one
device that ticks all the boxes I require. I have thought long and hard
about which way to go, and one of my considerations has to be the weight of
a product. I have thought about an Ultrabook with a separate display, but I
don't like a lot of these flimsy qwerty keyboards, and carrying an Ultrabook
and display around for me is still heavier than say using a BrailleNote
Touch. You just have to do what works for you.
Kind Regards,
Jackie Brown

Hi Jackie,
I have found this using Braille Edge and Braille Sense Plus 32; is it a Hims
problem?

Hi John
I just find that if you write a message in Braille like on a U2, it is
laggy. The time between you putting in each letter and those letters
appearing on the display is very slow, to me at least.

hi all
futher to my last on braille one difficulty with the android set-up
with braille is that you have to change the keyboard to the hardware
now of course with the el-braille or touch this will not happen and of
course you will have grade 2 braille i think.
the ease of use with a stand alone is massive. though it can be done
the cheap way it is very very fiddley to do.
strange though i do find with the iphone my braille is very fast
unlike jackie. i do use the american computer braille though so when i
enter a number for number six i press lower f.
