MessageHi
I don't know if it helps, but the next double-length edition of Infotech audio
magazine will contain a side by side comparison of the Braille Note family of
products from Humanware, and the Pacmate from Freedom scientific. If you want
more information about Infotech, please e-mail me privately rather than taking
up space on the list.

Thanks.

We have a BN mPower here which does have some unresolved battery problems but
they are working on the situation and we're not overly bothered. I use it
lots. The key strokes will be very similar so I can chat with you any time you
can get me, or me get you. I'll gladly help.

Thanks a lot for that Carol. I have decided to go with the Braillenote PK
as I don't think there are any battery problems with it and it seems to be
quite good. If you use one could we have a chat off line?

    Thanks.

      Wendy,

BrailleLite is becoming older technology now and you may pick up a
second-hand cheaply enough. The BrailleNote has had a few problems with regard
to batteries in the new mPower but I'm told they're making good progress with
this. It really depends what you want to achieve and how much money you have
etc.

Write me privately, or catch me on MSN and we can talk it through some
more if you'd like.

        Hi

Could anyone tell me which is the better - the braille lite or the
pocket braillenote (I understand that the ordinary braillenote is out of stock
due to a battery problem).

        #Thanks.
