Karen, maybe you know all you need to about the Milestone and the Book Currier, but Brian Hartgen's page at: http://www.hartgen.org/portable.html I did post some info here some time ago about the latest firmware upgrade for the Milestone which appears to make it a better DAISY player than it used to be. contains a good summary of these players. No doubt Brian will be reviewing the Victor Stream soon, but in the meantime it does strike me that for some the stream's very small size will be attractive. On the features front it can also speed up DAISY books like many of the CD players can. It should also support Audible books in the near future through a firmware upgrade. If all this wasn't enough there is also now the Vi-Player joining the fray, which Calibre seem to have some association with. This will apparantly be demonstrated in the reading room at Sight Cheers,Village.
