My Belkin arrived today.
Works brilliantly.
Down with fancy, propriatory software!
Hi Carol,
Absolutely none!
Belkin do a variety of them ranging from 10 Metres to 100 Metres, and all are plug and pray where XP is concerned, using XP's own Bluetooth connectivity.
George.

George,
So, when you say "no fancy stuff", what do you mean? - No drivers and stuff to install?
What's the model number, by the way, please?

usingI bought a Belkin Bluetooth USB adaptor from PC World for around 30 Pounds.
Plugs in, is recognised by Windows XP Home and Pro, and didn't come with any fancy stuff. Works fine with my telephone, a photo printer and all sorts.

Hi all.
I'm looking for a recommendation on a bluetooth adaptor.
I've purchased one from Ebay but am sending it back. It came with propriatory software for transfering files,
it as a modem and all sorts of other personal networkstuff
mobileI don't need or want. The device can not be used without this software installed.
I want to simply be able to use the send to context menu item to send wavs, midi's etc to my bluetooth enabled
[mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe]phone. Is anyone using a bluetooth usb adaptor that does this?
Thanks Barry
