Hi Andrew The adaptor is a small gadget with a box at one end of the cable and a 3.5jack at the other. If I want to pair my AfterShokz Bluez headphones to say my Victor Reader Stream, which doesn't support Bluetooth, I use the adaptor.I don't know who makes it, I bought the headphones and the adaptor which HumanWare sell.I don't have an Olympus, so don't know if this would pair with it. I didn't think the DM5 supported Bluetooth? Someone correct me if I am wrong on thatscore. You should then hear: "audio device connected".
