This is why to some extent the question of which is the best is
pretty hard
to answer. I've had Virgin now at home for about 6 years with no
problems.
Yeah, sure, they will always go through the turn it off and on again
routine
when you call them but as some one who worked for an IP for a few
years this
does fix most problems so I can live with that.
At my office I have had numerous problems with other ADSL companies
which at
the same time have seen applauded in conversations like this one.
The best
one is the one that just works and I think all of them do that for
some
people. Virgin for me but I guess not for everyone.

From what I recall web browsing was slow, so was using the internet in
general. It even failed to load pages. Most of it was caused by
someone else
using the connection at the same time though. That's all I can recall.

I am moving into my new flat for rent in a couple of weeks time,
and I was wondering which internet provider in the UK do you guys
reckon is good value for money?
I was considering o2 broadband for the home, beeing as I am an o2
customer I could get it for seven pounds and fifty pence, pus ten
pounds for my BT landline, bringing my total to a respectable, 17
pouns plus my mobie contract of 20 pounds so bringing everything up
to 38 pounds.
However the service is not in my area so I have to pay seventeen
pounds just for the internet, which I feel nowadays is a bit
expensive.
Is this the best I am going to get?
