Get her to call Vodafone and ask what they've got in stock that they can
put talks on for free. Or does anyone have a better idea? And good to do
it now before Vodafone start charging a fiver a month on top of your
regular bills for their screenreader from Christmas time.

Subject: [access-uk] basic mobile phone

Hi all

A totally blind friend has never owned a mobile phone and wants one just
for making and receiving calls and texting. She wants a pay as you go,
with no monthly contract. Any ideas about the cheapest option?
