Thinking about how I surf the web I always use headings and the find feature but I rarely use links and similar types of lists. Sometimes itsites aren't perfect but if I were to call them all inaccessible I'd have a much smaller Internet to play with! Also, the fact that some of the websites that are slightly trickier are usable at all is because of the accessibility push.

I totally agree here James. I think nowadays its almost gone to the other extreme...people are way too quick to brand a site as "Inaccessible". I also think people often confuse accessibility with ability...ability in using their assistive technology, where surely the solution is better training in the web environment. Like a user pointed out earlier, there's the '"Find" feature in most screen reading products now, and I personally find this a much more efficient method of navigating a site as opposed to the Links List Dialogue. Ok I guess one could argue one must have an idea of what they are searching for to enter as the Search String, but in my experience even on unfamiliar sites, there's a fairly good chance you'll strike lucky.
