Hi Alison,
You should be able to copy all your music from the itunes media folder from the
USB drive and copy it to the itunes media folder on the C drive.
As you have already started doing some of this automatically you might get
asked if you want to replace some files or it might unfortunately create
duplicates. I doubt it will do as you will be carrying out a normal copy and
paste operation.
The actual path will most likely be:
C:\user\music\itunes\itunes media
It obviously depends on which drive Windows is installed and whether you have
pointed your personal files to another drive or not. In an out of the box
configuration I believe the above should work for you.
Kind regards,
Stewart.

D to know this too.
I had to buy a new computer just before Christmas and my husband saved all the
items in My Documents to an external hard drive which he has managed to copy
onto my new computer.
I had over 5,000 songs in my Itunes Library and the only way I can get them
back is to go into my old My Music folder, find the Ituines folder, then find
Itunes Music and play each track, which then puts the item back into my Itunes
Library on the new computer. I'm almost halfway through but I feel certain that
there has to be a simpler way to achieve this.

Hi
Please could someone tell me how to back up my ITunes library on a windows 10
platform? I'm not sure which folders files etc to highlight prior to copying
to an external hard drive.
Many thanks
Henry
