[access-uk] avast not announcing that it has up-dated

Hi
I use avast for my anti-virus, I have noticed that it is not
playing the sounds when it has up-dated for example. I have
checked all the settings, I have played the sounds in the
avast folder on my hard drive to see if they work but they
definitely don't work within the program itself. Something
is wrong somewhere, when I first installed it on my netbook,
I had it connected to my other computer via a network but I
am now using a usb modem and I think this may be the
problem. I think it is up-dating ok but I'm not sure. Can
you tell me what's wrong?
