Sounds like the audio jack socket may be suspect. Normally these cut sound to the speakers when the headphone plug is inserted. If you have a can of compressed air, (Maplins sell it) sometimes a squirt down the socket clears any fluff, etc., which may be keeping the contacts open. Hi guys, My wife is having some sound issues with her Acer 1 xp home netbook system. The problem has just appeared recently. The netbook has no audio at all. The only time she gets audio is if she connects a pair of USB headphones. Anyone got any Ideas?, Billy In the sound and audio section, it says her speakers are at 100 per cent. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
