Glad my guess was right and it wasn't anything nasty. Re enhanced, I'd say yes, you quite notice the different in sound quality. But again whether if you think it worth investing those £30 if you mostly listen to books from Audible. I thought it was worth it. In any rate do listen to both enhanced and format 4 on Windows Media Player to see what you are getting. Just sussed it just as I got your post. Thanks for the heads-upon the v stream softpack, do you use it and does it make a big difference when listening with the v stream? Thanks again. It sounds like you've downloaded the book in the enhanced format. You have to have the v stream softpak installed on your player to play this format. I think it costs £30. Or you can re download in format 4 and that will work. I'm using a different pc from what I normally use and I kind of got into a bit of a tangle when choosing a format. It plays on my pc but only after being promted for a programme, and it seems windows media player is the one that plays this format. Can anyone give me some clue as to what I've done wrong.
