Once your Stream is activated (you do that by clicking on the apropriate player on the website and then connect your stream with the sd card within) you've got a $vraudible folder on your stream /on the sd card in your stream. into this folder you copy the 1 or 2 files of your audible books and you should be fine. Let me know if you have any problems Best wishes, Madleen Mann RNIB Customer Sales and Support/Technology 105, Judd Street London WC1H 9NE t: 0207 391 23 08 E: madleen.mann@xxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ibrahim Gucukoglu Sent: 30 September 2010 11:35 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: audible and streem: Hi. When you spoke to Audible or when your partner did, did you activate your PC as part of the installation process? Every device including both PC's and MP3 players need to be activated before they can be used. I don't use the stream myself, so I can't give you any further advice re getting it to work, but what I used to do was to copy the books directly in to the appropriate folder on my BookSense, the device I used until recently and so long as the BookSense had been activated with Audible, they'd play with no problems at all. I now use an IPhone and ITunes, at least I will use an IPhone when the darn thing shows up, however that aside, ITunes handles everything automatically for you so all I have to do is sync and enjoy when my phone does make it here. All the best and sorry I cant help further. ----- Original Message ----- From: "jim o'brien" <jim.taggart@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, September 30, 2010 11:27 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: audible and streem: > hi ibriham, yes i have downloaded and installed the audible manager and > have 2 books in there. audible talked my partener through the process so i > think i have registered my stream. my computer recognises my stream and i > can get as far as importing from audible to the stream, well i think that > is the case. at this point nothing seems to happen. although in my audible > folder one of the books is there but i can't open it. i think the message > i get is, file not activated but when i land on the folder it tells me it > is. am i being thick? > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ibrahim Gucukoglu" <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx> > To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Thursday, September 30, 2010 10:04 AM > Subject: [access-uk] Re: audible and streem: > > >> Hi Jim. >> >> Could you explain what you've done so far?
