Terry, as far as I know, JFW will work with Intel and AMD Athlon. My XP system
is an AMD 64 which, admittedly, I've had for some years. My laptop is an Intel
Dual Core. Both machines are running JFW 9.0.
I'm not technical enough to help you regarding the figures and sockets though
(smile).

It seems to be dual core and seems to be 64 bit and seems to be 4 Ghz.

Can someone try to explained to me, what I need to look for when trying
to find out what the differences are between processors. a.g. I understand
Intel descriptions, when talking about processor speeds, but I'm not quite so
sure when it comes to Athlon processors. The one mentioned below for example,
. AMD AthlonT 64 X2 4200+ Socket AM2
Does it mean that it is 64 bit? Is it duel core? And lastly, is it 4.2
GHz?
As you can see, I really don't have a clue.
