Marie,

I have one case like that, and, maybe I am just lucky but there are six
little wheels, and if you keep turning them towards the lid of the case,
they eventually stop. Then they turn in little notches which you can count
round. They go in number order so, for example if your combination is 1 2
and 3 on the left side, and 4 5 and 6 on the right, then the left wheel goes
round one notch, the middle on the left goes two, and so on. Of course, you
don't leave the locks in that position, or anyone could open the case. I
have had this case for at least ten years, so they are probably totally
different now.

David

Well Mary, its technology, if not 'hi tech' or accessible!

Can't think of a way of knowing when those wheel locks are in the
right combination, except to mark them in some way. can't recall now
how you set them up, but wonder if there's a faint click when the
combo's right?

Persoanllypersonally, I like those mini padlocks you can put on cases,
if a case will take them. They're dirt cheap too. Still probably not
very secure, but I hear a lot of luggage these days goes walkies.

Cheers,

Cheers now,
