I have a compact flash card and I never take it out of the drive. I don't depend on the main memory . The Omni 2007 is much more stable than the 2003, but I don't take chances.

Hi Will,

I was chatting to a pal in the states and she said that the braille version
didn't retain files at power down. Is this the same with the querty
version.
If so, then I don't see the point. It would mean that every file that you
create would have to be backed up to external sources e.g. a pen drive
before switching off.
