Are you using Firefox ESR release? This is the version now recommended for the
time being with Screenreader use.
If you are using a beta 57 release this has known issues with screenreaders.
Apart from that I think your only browser options with jaws are Chrom and
Internet Explorer, plus Webbie I suppose but you get a cut down experience with
that. Technically I think SeaMonkey is also an option but I believe this is
based on Firefox anyway.
With Edge you can allegedly use Jaws provided you have Edge support turned on
in Settings. However I personally ;find it very sluggish. It seems to work
nicely out of the box with NVDA however. If Edge stops reading press control
alt N to restart NVDA and that normally sorts it.

Friends, i’ve been struggling with Mozilla firefox for weeks now, it seems to
