Hi Barry when I accidentally turn the speech off if I do as you suggest and ask seri to turn voiceover on it says voiceover is already on. Please can you tell me how to check that tapping three times on the home button is selected. I have looked but I can’t seem to find it. thanks a lot Janet From: Barry Hill Sent: Thursday, March 19, 2015 3:43 PM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: another small problem with the iPhone As well as the three finger double tap, you can use Siri to turn speech on and off. Just press and hold the home button until it beeps, then say, “Turn voice over on/off”. Also, if you have the accessibility short cut set up in settings>general>accessibility, you can press the home button three times to turn on/off voice over. If you need more help with setting this in settings, just ask.
