Hi Barry

when I accidentally turn the speech off if I do as you suggest and ask seri to
turn voiceover on it says voiceover is already on. Please can you tell me how
to check that tapping three times on the home button is selected. I have
looked but I can’t seem to find it.

thanks a lot

Janet

As well as the three finger double tap, you can use Siri to turn speech on and
off. Just press and hold the home button until it beeps, then say, “Turn voice
over on/off”. Also, if you have the accessibility short cut set up in
settings>general>accessibility, you can press the home button three times to
turn on/off voice over. If you need more help with setting this in settings,
just ask.

Hi guys and girls just one more thing. If you turn speech off when trying to
close a call how do you get it back again?

sorry for being a pain but i kno it isn’t tapping the home button three times
because when I do that nothing happens.

thanks once again

Janet
