Hi Joe,

Just tap the volume button and notice the beeps go up.  When you stop
tapping, it will tell you the ringer volume.  You've just put it into silent
mode by setting the volume down to 0.

All the best

Steve

thanks friends, i really appreciate your response to my message, i'll try
all the suggestions including the voice call, i spent this afternoon finding
my way around this phone, and it has been quite a fruitful afternoon, i sent
numerous texts to friends and former colleagues, i've set up "tune in"
radio, and listened to a couple of my favourite internet radio stations,
yes, quite a successful few hours, once again thanks for your assistance, o
just before i go, my phone has stopped it's ringing tone when i get a call,
it has switched over to vibrating mode, i don't want that, how do i get my
original ring tone back, it's something i've done and don't know how to
undo, once again many thanks god bless, travel safely, joe.,
