Hi Alistair
I have enabled the iPlayer Radio skill, but when I ask it to play BBC Radio
Five Live, for example, it does it using TuneIn. I haven’t needed to use the
other one at all so far.
Kind Regards,

Hi Jackie, yes indeed in a variety of ways! think it may be blocking some
stations re-copyright or rights issues?in fact there are many problems with
radion stations, e.g. smooth is awful and seems to be constantly bufferring! I
should add, my virgin wifi is generally fast and excellent! do you use
radioplayer on the echo? if yes? how? I have tried to do so without success!
This is driving me nuts! think I need a birthday pic-me-up! lol!
thanks!

Hi Alistair
I am not sure, on your first point, why she won’t play Clyde for you. I am
assuming you have asked: “Alexa, play Radio Clyde?” Sometimes you have to say
it slightly differently to get her to catch on! (smile.)
Regarding your second point and the welcome screen, there are a series of tabs
on the website, Skills being one of them. Tab with your screenreader to
Skills, and enter on it. You should then reach the categories and a search box
to type in the skill by name.
I hope that helps!
Kind Regards,
Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] amazon echo: Again!
Hi folks and compliments of the season to all! Been lucky boy and got a Echo
for my birthday, but have noticed some radio stations do not stream e.g.clyde 1
and clyde 2, these are local stations based in glasgow and are very very
popular. I was wondering as they do not play on Tunein, can you use other
players such as radio player with the Echo? also, when I go to:
alexa.amazon.co.uk I keep getting the welcome page inviting me to begin setup.
I cannot for the life of me find the list of skills! any help would make a
birthday boy (lol! 64) very grateful!
Thanks
alistair
