[access-uk] amazon Echo, Again!

I’m aware there has been considerable discussion about this product on list and 
I note that the echo has a baby brother, I think it is “the dot”? As I have a 
blue tooth speaker already would there be any difference in performance between 
the dot and the actual Echo? I have searched Amazon but can’t see it listed as 
a product, is it available in the UK? Also, and lastly, lol! Would there be any 
educational value for young folks? My grandson is 8 extremely bright, (don’t 
know where he gets it from) and is very tech savvy and has a enquiring mind!
