Ok then, this sounds like using one of those websites to check if my post code area can receive freeview, rather than changing from terestial to digital aerial. The | question I think you need to answer is. How strong is the freeview signal | in my area? I think I'm right in saying that even when the analogue signal | is switched off, the majority of people will still be able to receive | freeview with their current aerial. | | I think watchdog did a report about a new scam where you get sales people | knocking on your door trying to flog a digital aerial that you may never | actually need. But obviously many people are worrying about not being able | to receive TV anymore and will fall for this sort of thhing. | | Darren. | | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Andy Collins" <andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> | To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | Sent: Sunday, November 25, 2007 10:37 AM | Subject: [access-uk] Re: advice on reasonably priced accessible TVS with | freeview required please. | | | > Does this work with a terrestrial aerial or does it require a digital | > one? - | > | > Andy | > ----- Original Message ----- | > From: "Darren Brewer" <darren.m.brewer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> | > To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | > Sent: Saturday, November 24, 2007 2:37 PM | > Subject: [access-uk] Re: advice on reasonably priced accessible TVS with | > freeview required please. | > | > | > | Hi Matt | > | | > | Well I received the freeview box the other day and I must say I was | > | impressed with how easy it was to setup and use.
