Purists might say that the band is an integral part of the watch’s design.
There are two ends, one of which has a loose hinged kind of flap. On the other
there is a moveable but fixed part which has a bar running across it. You wrap
this around your wrist first then pull the other end over. On the hinged part
of the catch there are two hooks. These go over the bar on the other half of
the band and the flap then closes and locks. It is very secure. In all the
years of having my Bradley it has never come undone or fallen off. Hope that
helps.

Hi Janet
I know this is a cop-out, but I bought an expandable bracelet for mine and
have never looked back. I found the original strap very fiddly, and I was
always afraid it would come off so much prefer the expandable variety.
Kind regards,
