Yes, Mo and Paul, they do tend to be annoying with the take
a more expensive package calls. These days, after telling
them I do not need it a couple of times, I find that I
simply have to get tough with them and tell them that if
they do not mark my file not to ring me about this again, I
will move provider elsewhere. this invariably stops the
calls.

Another good thing with Talktalk is that you can get
substantial savings in line rental if you pay a year's in
advance, when the monthly amount you then pay is £9.50
instead of something like £14.

John.

Talk service

Hello Mo and all,

I have been with Talk Talk for 3 years now. I can not recall
an outage, I live in a town in North Cheshire with a
population about 60,000. The few calls to Customer Services
have probably all been to India bar one, I just spoke a
little slower than usual. To maximise comprehension, avoid
using idioms, dialect or slang. I have received no rudeness
or shouting on any occasion whatsoever. Perhaps it is a case
of who throws the first stone?

The only annoyance about Talk Talk,, was being phoned on a
regular basis trying to get me to take a more expensive
package, but that could be a common factor throughout the
industry.

The charges will gently increment upward regularly
throughout the year. I tried the online billing system, but
gave it up after a foul-up with the password entry locked me
out. The password was quickly unlocked by Customer Services,
but since I could not understand what I did wrong to get
locked out, I lost confidence in it.

The true test of a company and it's Customer Service, is
when something really goes wrong. Thankfully, I have not yet
experienced a serious problem, so can not offer any horror
stories.

Paul Benson.

goes down, calls to technical support, what the support is
like, etc? am
i going to be dealing with indians who can't understand a

saying and who are down right rood? No offence to any people

reply, if its any consolation i'm Asian my self! oh for the
days of UK
customer support. any views welcome.

Mo.
