Andrew, wish I knew the answer to the problem you're having unistalling Adobe
Reader 7, and installing 8.  Hope someone comes up with a way around this
problem.

Ok Ray Yes I've been there and done that,  still it is on my system,  every
time I try to remove it it is saying some thing like  this patch cannot be
opened,  please check with your supplier  and make sure it is  some thing or
rather cannot rememember the rest,  Ihave tried to install other versions
than 8,  like 7.09  and not even this will install.  so it looks like I am
buggered.
