Here here but she will not. I got her to write to the Open University at the
beginning of the year which went over a 4 month period amd 3 letters sent by
her to the Open University who denied receiving any of them. In the end I made
such a fuss to the Vice-Chancellor's Office that the NP was contacted by the
university had to contact her office amd have her letter faxed over. This done
the university then told me that the NP had written to Milton Keynes amd that
as my tutor was an Associate Lecture amd based in London it was highly likely
that the NP letters were sitting in a tray in Milton Keynes amd nobody knew
where to send them. This would suggest that the Open University would not look
my name amd course up on a computer amd match me with the tutor's name to whom
the letters were addressed. Then the university told me that as that was my
tutor last year amd I had a new tutor this year my tutor to whom my Np wrote
would not be obliged to respond as she no longer had anything to do with me.
Not only that but once they got the NP'S letter faxed over the person in the
Complaints amd Appeals at the Open University informed me that the
Vice-Chancellor to whom the letter was addressed not only would not be replying
to it but would not even have sight of the letter. This person in the
university told me that she would simply look at previous corresponda between
me amd the university amd would simply send my NP a copy of the corresponda the
whole think stinks. I cannot blame the NP EXCEPT to say that she was not seeing
things from my perspective but from that of the university. I have tried to get
newspapers amd radio stations interested but they are not which is a pity. I
think they fear the Open University suing them. I will certainly try amd
interest the media when I go to Milton Keynes on 1 September.

may i suggest you take this to your m.p. and lets hope he/she is not one of
the m.p.s with their nose in the troff and is willing to take your case up
and give it the same publisity as the expenses has had.
