Hi Phil,

If you can get an American 103 key layout, you will be able
to simply use the UK layout.

However, American 101/102 key layout lack the backslash key
to the left of the Z.

Also, aside from the Pound Currency Key a whole bunch of
other keys are in different places. It will drive you up
the proverbial wall - trust me - I have an American USB
keyboard in the office which I bought cheap over there when
I needed one to run with my laptop.

10 minutes of browsing and e-mailing with an American
layout, and you'll be begging for your old keyboard back.

George.

Subject: [access-uk] reassigning =C2=A3 key on US keyboard

Evening all,
I'm looking at buying a Logitech cordless mouse and natural
keyboard, have looked on eBay and there are some for sale
very cheaply, however, they are US ones and state that they
have no '=C2=A3-pound' key. Is it possible to reassign the dollar
or other key to produce the =C2=A3 sign?

All help gratefully received
Cheers
Phil=20
