Thanks to all who replyed. The problem was caused by me downloading the non accessible version - I'm sure that I clicked on the accessible link! I downloaded the correct version from sendspace and it's now working fine.

Dave,

How are you trying to read the book? The command Ctrl + R should start
reading with the built-in voice; you don't use JAWS to read the book
content. You can also get a list of instructions by pressing Ctrl + I.
What happens when you use either of these?

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] accessible kindle

hello everyone,

I've installed the accessible version of kindle for pc and can read the
controls using jaws 12. Unfortunately, I can't read the book even though
a sighted person has confirmed it's there. Has anyone had any success
with this application? I'm using win 7 64 bit home premium and the
latest version of jaws 12.

Regards

Dave
