Hi Jacky

Ok I don't need it for here in France as they don't have dab
here but it will be useful when I finally come in September
so want to have a look, thanks.

Regards

Adrien

Hi Adrien

As you live in France, I'm not sure where you could try over
there, but when
you visit the UK again, a good place to try out DAB radios
is John Lewis.
They range in price from about £30 and go up to a couple of
hundred or so,
depending on what you want. Another alternative is to order
a Roberts radio
from Wireless for the Blind Fund, or through Amazon. I
think the Play is
about £60. It has five presets each for FM and DAB, and the
buttons are all
distinguishable with little need to go into the setup menu.

Kind Regards,

HI Jacky

Ok what kind of price would I be looking at for one of these
radios and
where would be a good place to try them?

Regards

Adrien

Hi Adrien

None of them have speech accessibility. Quite a few have
reasonable tactile
buttons though, and tuning and saving presets is possible on
a number of
them. I still like the Pure Move for portability and signal
strength in my
area. I also use a Roberts Play which is easy to navigate.

Hi

I would like to get a dab radio later on this year, I would
like one I can
either carry around with me or put on a table, what are good
and accessible
models, it doesn't have to be too small or just use
earphones. I know there
has been a lot of discussion about these on here lately.

Regards

Adrien
