I, Also think it's good for timing things.
I'm an advanced computer user myself, so maybe the option to minimise abit
like hide when minimised in outlook could be used? That way you'd need to
know what you're doing to be able to do this?

Erica.

Hi Alasdair

I don't need the clock itself because in jaws, there is a command to find
out the current time, but I have successfully used the reminder function.
However, I believe that hal doesn't have a command to access the system
clock. Don't know about other software though. I do like the reminder
function because I don't have to hunt around for a electronic timer when I'm
in here if I need to time something in the oven for example. It's so easy
to get engrossed on the computer I find, time goes so fast if you're doing
something really interesting.

The only thing I could think of would be if the reminder feature goes off
and you do decide to minimise it to the tray, you would need a command to
bring it back again to turn it off.

No, there is no way to minimize the clock to the system tray. I
reasoned that if you were comfortable using the system tray (so you
can get the clock back) well, then, you would be able to read the time
in the system tray itself, so why would you be using the Clock
program? Better to avoid people accidentally minimizing the Clock and
therefore losing it. Happy to be corrected if you've a better
scenario!

Best wishes,
Alasdair
