Dave,

By the good offices of another subscriber, he has sent your message to me so
enabling me to read it.

I note you suggest properties of track 7 show it is blocked, I'll see about
unblocking it, also re-take the file if necessary into a different copy by
opening an empty file with the same attributes in GoldWave, saving under the
same name in a different location, opening the offending file, copying it's
content into the newly created file, save it back and try writing the disk
again from the new file in the correct position.

Strange, if it is blocked, how WinAmp plays the original file but not when
written to disc!

you check the file properties for file 7 you may find that the file is
actually blocked. This does not seem to be the case with the other files

checking to see if it is blocked your end and if it is then   unblocking it

plays  despite the  block I would personally just re-record it from your
sound card using something like virtual Recorder which is beautifully easy

therefore</p><p class=MsoNormal>-reluctantly resorted to 24,000 96KBPS
stereo, giving me a size well within</p><p class=MsoNormal>-the disc

problems but on checking the disc found track 7 would</p><p
class=MsoNormal>-not play though looking at properties Etc. seemed no

form of notice</p><p class=MsoNormal>-given to hear programs later on the

- a second disk from the same batch of Maxels used for the first</p><p
