Hi People,

Users of the Zen Stone MP3 player might like to know that there is now a
free software update available from the Creative website.

If you have Brian Hartgen's excellent media lite scripts, all you need to do is connect your Stone, and press control plus alt plus u which will take you
onto the site. I had some trouble finding the download link but, once I
found it the procedure was straightforward.

the most obvious change to me is that when switched on, the Stone starts
playing after a few seconds, rather than the fifteen or so seconds
previously. There are apparently a few bug fixes and the player is now more
stable.
