Further to my email below, here's two links from a recent message to recycle-it that will exhibit the extra verbosity problem, or at least for me it does! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRypHHO5Mj0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NveKaqI80uo ----- Original Message ----- From: Darran Ross To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, October 28, 2012 7:13 PM Subject: [access-uk] Youtube and JAWS Verbosity Hi List. Over the last few days each and every time I follow a link from an email to Youtube, JAWS immediately starts spouting a continuous stream of percentage and time data to me. It makes listening to anything on Youtube impossible! For example, I'll click on a link, the Youtube site comes up and starts to play, accompanied by JAWS saying stuff like 2% 3 of 284 seconds 3% 8 of 284 seconds etc etc. And so it goes on and on. The only way to stop it is to move away from the Youtube window. BTW, those timings were just an example! I haven't got the exact feedback, but I hope its enough to make the point! No changes have been made to any of my JAWS speech settings and I'm at a bit of a loss to know why this extremely irritating behavior has started. Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks.
