No. That thing with sending out test messages is just annoying for everyone else who belongs to the group, and in my opinion should only be done as a last resort. If it's problems with yahoo groups, your account is probably bouncing messages. The group owner can send you a reactivation mail, which you need to reply to and then your mail should startt arriving again. If you belong to several yahoo groups and this keeps happening, the easiest thing to do is to register with yahoo, though unfortunately this will throw up the problem of reading characters in a box before it will let you complete the registration. I realise this is a problem for many people using access technology, but if you can find a way round it, it is worth it, because you can then register your e-mail addresses and associate them with your new yahoo account, through which you can check the status of your addresses (and unbounce them if necessary), and have more control over your groups. This seems to be becoming more of a problem lately, have no idea why. All the best Kirsty. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Justin R" <mypc128@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 24, 2004 9:31 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Yahoogroups? > Hi Jim > > yep, I'm on the talx and recycle-it list and both seem to be sending > messages fine here.
