Hi Christopher.
Personally I have not had any problems using JAWS and VISTA.
Seems pretty accessible, Granted, some of the menus are different, but that
was also the case with XP.

Subject: [access-uk] XP versus Vista

Hi all,
Sorry for the vague subject line, but couldn't think of what else to put.
Also sorry for the cross posting, but you'll see why below.
I read from one of the RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind for
those who didn't know) magazines, Compute IT I think, that OEM manufacturers
will no longer be able to ship XP with their computers, nor will retail
outlets be able to sell XP. Does any of you know about this? Apparently it's
because Microsoft will no longer manufacture the product, and therefore we
will all be forced to switch to Vista from the end of January next year. I
just hope by then that JAWS, at least, will be good enough to work with
Vista as we'll have very little choice after the above date. I'd love to
hear your thoughts on this please. My partner and I are personally
disgusted, and may even consider switching away from Windows because of the
complexity of using Vista with assistive technologies. Thanks, and I look
forward to hearing from you.
