George, I have a spare machine, which started life with Win 95. I have the original 95 CD plus the one used to upgrade it to 98SE. As it had its mother board, HD etc. upgraded to a level quite adequate for XP I had wondered about upgrading it to XP instead of scrapping it. Presumably the lack of a 98 Cd (as distinct from an upgrade one) would prevent me doing this. Am I correct? douglas On 1 Nov 2004 at 9:50, George Bell wrote: > Hi Darren, > > You should have the original CD. > -- Douglas Harrison ** To leave the list, send a message to:- ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
