Justin,

I sense a little frustration creeping in here . . . but, well, dare I
say "Enjoy It"?

Subject: [access-uk] Work Placement; being moved again, different PC set
up

Hi everyone,
I posted a subject similar to this on vi-gen access and it aqcured to me
how more access uk relevant this subject seems to be!

OK, well I've been moved to my own office room on Wednesday afternoon.
Tomorrow morning, the collealgue I'm burrying the computer off is back
from holiday! yep, being parcelled around again!!

this, time, I'll be in the reception area however, the computer set up
will be different. I don't know where they've got this computer from or
how. i say this as, it's just come in from somewhere, it's not
connected to the central server, nor, is it internet enabled either!

To get my files I'm working on, on the comoputer, I'll be using a...
don't laugh.... CD-R/RW to transfer files. Just the same as using the
CD to transfer what I've done back to the central server. Yep, it's
crazy, daft but, that's my set up for my final three days of work!
<rolling eyes out of their sockets>.

that's the latest. Other than learning how to select various collums,
in excel, and leave out others not required using the "hide/unhide"
feature. using the bar chart wizard and amending the properties to get
all information in and laid out better.

Apart from the fact I'm doing, practically, a half day on Monday as,
I've got a meeting with Karen from bluestar and Jan at the job centre.
Plus, someone's taking my photo and doing an article on me for the
council's newspaper "Ipswich Angle".

there you go.

Justin
