Hi Peter
The only way that I can get Word to find a string of ... is to copy the
3 dots from the document and then paste into the Find dialog. All items
will then be found. I didn't need to check any options.

Hello
I'm using word 2000 but I suspect the same question would apply to the
latter versions.
I am trying to use the word find facility to locate ... strings. These
are not found though they are in the document. I ticked the "whole word"
options but this threw up the error message that only alphebetical
strings canb be searched for using this option. How should I go about
doing this please?
