Hi all

I know this subject has been discussed many times in the past. But I'm just after some expert advice as never having setup or bought network equipment before.

I use blueyonder broadband via a set top box and want to share the connection between two PCs. Currently the broadband signal comes out the set top box through a 10 meter cable which connects to a USB ethernet adaptor.

The setup I'm after is to have one of the PCs hard wired to the router and the other PC to have a wireless connection.

So I know I need a wireless router, and a cable to connect the router to one PC plus a compatible wireless network card for the second PC.

What I'm not sure of is that because the current setup uses a USB ethernet adaptor. I don't have a network card. But if I were to buy a wireless router would I then need a network card for the wired connection or would the router come with some kind of USB connection?

I have had a look for a bundle which might contain all this but haven't been able to find one as of yet.

Can anyone recommend a particular router and wireless network card. I think the main contenders are Linksys, Dlink and Belkin

Thanks in advance.
Darren.
