Hi Mandy,

 

With mine, I also have a USB connection as well as wireless.  If I'm working
on my laptop anyway, I keep the cable in and it will charge.  But when I
want to keep chatting and go to make a cup of tea, I can keep chatting or
just listening.  There is also a mute button which allows me to listen, and
just stops the microphone sending.  (Handy when you need a mother nature
break - smile)

 

Given the tiny size and weight of the headphone battery, I'm not surprised
at what might be considered a low time.  However, if I really needed to be
cordless for longer, I would invest a few pounds in one of those standby
batteries about the size of small mobile phone, and keep that in my pocket
with the USB cable attached.

How long do you expect the battery of these headphones to last at one time?

My husband has a set for w which he bought a new battery and only gets three
and a half hours at one time before they start beeping.

I can second what Ibrahim says. I've had a Logitec headset with microphone,
and last week survived five three hour zoom sessions at a conference.

Hi Mandy.

You can still get the Logitech H600 which is PC only or the H800 which in
addition to being wireless for PC also has a Bluetooth function.  The
headsets have mounted swivel boom microphones and  miniature PC dongle which
can remain discretely in the PC or laptop if desired or can be stored in the
compartment on the earcup of the headset.  I believe this will suit you down
to the ground.

              Hi All.

 

I am looking for a wireless headset to use with my laptop - I bought one
yesterday from Amazon but it is Bluetooth rather than wireless and although
it is connected to my laptop, on team talk where you have to select the
headphone source, although I am able to hear what people are saying etc, my
voice is totally unclear.

 

So, to recap, I want a wireless headset (not Bluetooth) to use with my
laptop.  It must have a microphone.

 

Any suggestions with, if possible, a little about one and where to purchase
please.
