Hi Martin,

Give it time. Go and have a cup of tea while it is clicking. Because
Microsoft Update as opposed to Windows update, checks your system for other
MS software, office etc, it takes a lot longer. When you come back,
clicking will stop, and you will see the buttons. It is searching your
machine when it is clicking.

All the best

Steve

Hi all.

I'm wondering the following. When I go to the microsoft update site, I get
eight links and two frames and no check for updates buttons. I get a load
of clicking and that's it. I'm trying to download sp3, and have had some
updates for windows down the tube, so believe automatic updates is working.
Can anyone shed any light on the reason for the lack of buttons when I go
to:

www.microsoftupdate.com or www.windowsupdate.com?thanks.

Hope to hear from you soon.

From Martin.
