Hi Roger, you can do a custom install of updates. That way you can refuse the
ones you don't want.

  Subject: [access-uk] Windows XP Update

  Hi All

I've just done a clean re-install and need to update Windows XP with the
critical updates. In my in-box is an icon saying to update automatically. But
does this give me a say in what is installed? For example I do not like Windows
Defender and have always refused it when the update is ready. If I don't have a
say where do I go to get the option to refuse if I want to?

  Many thanks

  Roger
