Hi Roger, Ignore the bit about "Windows Professionals". This site is for people who need to make an installable CD such that they can install SP2 on multiple systems without having to download to each system each time. That will only install onto the machine that is connected to the site, which is mine. I realise now I can't connect to the net with my wife's machine until I get an operating system and I can't get that until I have SP2. I'm lost now. Roger Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Ireland" <andrew@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 19, 2006 8:20 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Windows XP SP2 > Roger, > > You can download the SP2 installation Setup file here: > http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=049 c9dbe-3b8e-4f30- > 8245-9e368d3cdb5a&displaylang=en > > HTH > > Andrew > > > On 19 October 2006 20:07 roger south wrote: > >> Hi All >> >> The wife's laptop has just died so today a new one arrived but >> without any operating system installed.
