I think the fact that there is a program called Real Alternative to play
real audio files says it all. Real player is dreadful. You get pop ups,
info tabs, things downloaded, and I'm sure loads of spyware as well. I
never trust Real at all. At least you can disable all the nasties in
Windows Media Player and it is accessible!
Cheers Dave
All,
I've very little experience of using either Windows Media Player or Real Player, so would appreciate hearing from anyone who has.
I've been asked about the relative accessibility of both programs and aside from noting that Jaws has scripts for Real Player, I don't know much.
Anyone, using any screen reader/magnifier, who can shed some light would be great.
