Hi
I have managed to go back to a previous restore point and have now got rid
of IE 7.
Windows hasn't crashed since, so I don't know what the problem was.

In Add or Remove Programmes, choose Windows Internet Explorer from the list
and tab to and activate the remove button. Hope this helps.
