There are two sorts of Windows 8.0 available. The vast majority of machines will have Windows 8.0 Pro on which therefore require a JAWS Professional licensing. There are however some machines with Windows 8.0 (no suffix). This is equivalent to a Windows Home Premium and therefore only require a JAWS standard license. Hope this helps. Regards. I am trying to seek clarification for someone who is thinking of purchasing a laptop, but has been advised that only JAWS Professional works under Windows 8. Many thanks.
