It depends. What version and how many licences the product key allows. There's nothing stopping you from trying it. If activation fails you'll have 30 days to use it.

Hi all,
I am trying to find out the following:
1. is it possible to install the same copy of the Windows operating system
on 2 machines?
2. is it possible to install the operating system on a new machine if the
original PC no longer in use/broken?

Thank you.
