I doubt it. Microsoft restricts use of their operating systems as "one license per computer". You could call them and convince that your old computer is broke so wish to activate on the new one. They may give you a new key but I am not sure. Good luck.

Hi,
finally, my existing pc died on me. I was wondering if I can install the
operating system, which was on this broken machine, onto a new one?

Thank you
