Hi Tony.
Hal with a stand alone synthesizer such as a Deck talk might be just fine.
Its that Hal voice I don't like. The screen reader itself might be okay.
Mind you, it screwed up my computer when I tried to uninstall Orpheus, but
hey...

Peter

Hi Peter

I have a demo copy of Supernova here which uses the Orpheus synch. While I
would agree that the sound is not the best. I would not have too much
difficulty getting used to it, and the speeds at which it will read are
quite fast.

I am considering all sorts of things at the moment. While Zoom Text is OK
for my purposes at the moment it is not a fully functional screen reader,
but as has been said already on this thread there is nothing which does
everything. that is needed.

Tony
